BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 10. Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov announced that Kyrgyzstan plans to increase its gross domestic product (GDP) to at least $30 billion by 2030 and rank among the top 30 countries in the world under the National Development Program of the Kyrgyz Republic until 2030, TurkicWorld reports via Kabar.
Speaking at a youth forum in Bishkek, the head of state highlighted the government’s key strategic priorities — industrialization, export expansion, and the development of logistics, agriculture, tourism, and green energy.
“We have adopted the National Development Program of the Kyrgyz Republic until 2030, which sets very ambitious goals — to industrialize the country, produce competitive export-oriented products, and turn Kyrgyzstan into a transit and logistics hub between China, the EAEU, and Central and South Asia,” Japarov said.
He added that within the framework of the program, the government intends to boost the country’s GDP to at least USD 30 billion by 2030.
“Our priorities include agriculture, tourism, and green energy. I am confident that we will achieve these goals together with our educated, energetic, and active youth,” the president concluded.
