BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 28. The foreign ministers of Jordan and Qatar have discussed regional developments and renewed calls for diplomatic efforts to end the conflict involving Iran and strengthen stability across the Middle East.
According to Jordan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani and Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi held a phone conversation focusing on ongoing efforts to restore calm in the region.
During the call, the two ministers stressed the importance of reaching a comprehensive agreement that addresses what they described as "all causes of tension" in the Middle East.
The officials also discussed diplomatic initiatives aimed at enhancing regional security and preventing further escalation.
According to the Jordanian Foreign Ministry, the conversation also addressed what it described as Israel's "dangerous" escalation in the Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank.
The ministers reaffirmed the importance of dialogue and political solutions to reduce tensions and support regional stability.
