The agreement, signed on June 16, 2025 in Astana, aims to create favorable conditions for investment activities, stimulate the inflow of foreign direct investment, and enhance the economic well-being of both countries.
The discussions took place during a meeting between Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov and President of the Turkic Investment Fund Baghdad Amreyev in Tashkent.
According to the operator, the route involves the transport of containerized cargo by rail from China via the Altynkol station (Kazakhstan) to Uzbekistan, followed by delivery to the Bukhara logistics center in Uzbekistan operated by Uztemiryulkonteyner.
During the meeting, Tokayev was informed that the project would significantly reduce Kazakhstan’s dependence on imports and supply the domestic market with competitive locally produced goods.
The ministry notes that the visit highlights the importance of Azerbaijan-EU engagement and dialogue at a time of evolving regional and global dynamics.
The guest of the program was People's Artist of Azerbaijan, laureate of the Golden Dervish and Zirva awards, ballet master and choreographer Madina Aliyeva.
