BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 24. President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree on awarding Niyazi Hajiyev with the medal "For Military Merit", TurkicWorld reports.
"Guided by paragraph 23 of Article 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, I hereby decree:
1. To award Lieutenant General Niyazi Hajiyev with the medal "For Military Merit" for distinguished performance of his official duties.
2. This decree will come into force on the day of signing," the decree reads.
