BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 26. Azerbaijan's Central Election Commission will approve requirements for the order, text, form, quantity, and manufacture of ballot papers in connection with the extraordinary parliamentary election, TurkicWorld reports.
According to the information, under Articles 99.1-99.4, 166 of the Election Code of Azerbaijan, the Central Election Commission has to approve the requirements regarding the order, text, form, quantity, and manufacture of ballot papers no later than 35 days before the voting day.
In connection with the extraordinary election to the Azerbaijani Parliament scheduled for September 1, this term covers the period until July 28, 2024.
On June 28, President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree dissolving the sixth convocation of the Azerbaijani Parliament and calling for an extraordinary election.
The snap parliamentary election in Azerbaijan is scheduled for September 1, 2024.
