BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 11. Azerbaijan is one of the leading countries in the region that does not face electricity supply problems, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said in an interview with Azerbaijan Television in Nakhchivan.
The President noted that many countries in the region are currently experiencing energy challenges, and these problems could become more serious due to various factors.
“Because of different reasons, an energy crisis is taking place in our region and this crisis may deepen. These include ongoing wars in the region, growing risks, disruptions in transport chains related to the delivery of energy resources, and other factors. It cannot be ruled out that new undesirable developments may occur in the future,” President Ilham Aliyev said.
The Azerbaijani leader emphasised that the country’s stable energy system provides an important advantage amid regional and global challenges.
