BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 11. Nakhchivan and Azerbaijan’s liberated territories – Eastern Zangezur and Karabakh – should develop under a unified concept, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said in an interview with Azerbaijan Television in Nakhchivan.
The President recalled that master plans for cities in all the liberated territories have already been approved.
“I instructed that a Master Plan for Nakhchivan city also be developed and prepared. It was presented to me today. Additional measures should be taken for the development of the city and the creation of modern infrastructure,” President Ilham Aliyev said.
The President emphasised the importance of applying a coordinated approach to urban development and modern infrastructure across Nakhchivan, Eastern Zangezur and Karabakh.
