Georgian Bolnisi hosts first summer youth camp

BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 26. The first summer camp for the youth of Bolnisi was held under the project of the State Committee for Work with Diaspora of Azerbaijan and with the organization of the "Caucasian Law and Integration Center" functioning in Bolnisi, TurkicWorld reports, referring to the State Committee for Work with Diaspora of Azerbaijan.

According to information, about 80 young people and teenagers from 20 villages of the district took part in the camp organized in Tandzia village in Bolnisi district.

At the opening ceremony, the executive director of the Center, Rezo Hasanov, welcomed the participants and expressed confidence that, in the coming years, the camp will be organized in a wider composition and will become a tradition.

"The camps' unquestionable value for educating and raising kids via engaging in worthwhile activities cannot be overstated. Collectivism, organization, and principles of coexistence are factors that positively influence high morale, and this, in turn, affects the effectiveness and quality of education," Rezo Hasanov noted.

The camp participants visited the house-museum of the outstanding public figure Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani, located in the village of Tandzia, familiarized themselves with the historical exhibits displayed there, and took action to clean the territory of the museum to protect the environment.

The participants prepared presentations on various topics and played fun intellectual games related to national music and national movies.
