BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 25. The Israeli military has reported that a drone struck an area where its forces were operating in southern Lebanon, after sirens warning of a hostile aircraft infiltration sounded across several areas in northern Israel.

TurkicWorld reports according to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), the incident occurred following alerts in the Upper Galilee and Rosh Hanikra regions, where air raid sirens were activated over suspected drone activity coming from Lebanon. The military said it identified suspicious aerial targets, and one of them impacted in a location where Israeli troops were conducting operations.

The IDF stated that no injuries were reported in the incident and that the circumstances of the drone strike are now being reviewed. Israeli forces regularly face hostile drones and rockets from Lebanese territory amid ongoing conflict with Hezbollah, despite formal ceasefire efforts.
