BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 7. Israel has carried out another air strike on Nabatieh al-Fawqa in southern Lebanon’s Nabatieh governorate, according to a correspondent on the ground.
The latest attack comes a day after Israeli air strikes hit the same municipality, killing at least two people. The renewed strikes add to growing concerns over the continuing escalation in southern Lebanon and the mounting toll of Israeli military operations.
Since March, Israel has repeatedly bombarded Lebanon and has also launched a ground invasion and established a military presence in parts of the country. Lebanese authorities say the Israeli attacks have killed more than 4,300 people since the start of the campaign.
The latest air strike comes amid continued regional tensions and persistent concerns over the humanitarian consequences of the conflict for civilians in southern Lebanon.
