Azerbaijani FM receives outgoing Polish ambassador

BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 25. Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has received Polish Ambassador Rafał Poborski on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission in the country, a source in the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan told TurkicWorld.

According to the source, the meeting discussed issues on bilateral and regional agendas.

Speaking about the existing cooperation between the two countries, the parties noted that contacts and meetings at the highest level contribute to the development of cooperation based on friendship, respect, and strategic partnership.

The meeting highlighted that Azerbaijan and Poland have broad prospects for bilateral relations in political and economic fields, including energy and alternative energy sources, as well as in humanitarian, educational, and other spheres.

Besides, the meeting emphasized the importance of political consultations in the development of relations as well as parliamentary diplomacy and noted that the 29th Session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), which will be held in Azerbaijan this year, is of great importance for the further development of bilateral and multilateral cooperation.

The minister highly appreciated the efforts of the ambassador in advancing bilateral relations and wished him success in his future diplomatic endeavors.
