It is not by chance that the mother tongue is equated with the concept of the Motherland, love for the Motherland is love for the language, and betrayal of the Motherland is considered betrayal of the language. Thinkers and geniuses fought for the protection of the purity and purity of the language and passed it on to future generations.
Historically, the Azerbaijani language, which has gone through severe trials, has risen to the highest status today as the basis of our national existence and statehood. The acquisition of the status of the language as the state language is the success of the national state building and is also an expression of our national freedom, national maturity and an attempt to protect statehood. In this sense, the services of Hadar Aliyev, the great leader, the national leader of the Azerbaijani people, are invaluable. The inclusion of the Azerbaijani language as the state language in the Constitution of the Azerbaijan SSR during the Soviet era was an important event for that time.
The great leader's love and concern for his mother tongue was reflected not only in his actions, but also in his speech. He used to say: "I speak Azerbaijani everywhere". Let the translators translate what I speak from their own language. I would like the Azerbaijani youth to read Shakespeare in English, Pushkin in Russian, Nizami, Fuzuli, and Nasimi in Azerbaijani.
