BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 27. Female personnel from the General Directorate of Border Guards are deployed across the holy sites during Hajj, performing organizational and coordination duties TurkicWorld reports via arabnews.
Their responsibilities include guidance and direction, security checks, traffic regulation, and support for field operations, helping to ensure pilgrims’ safety.
This is part of the directorate’s efforts to enhance service quality and enable pilgrims to perform their rituals with ease and peace of mind.
Meanwhile, Border Guard volunteers are also assisting pilgrims at the holy sites. They provide guidance in multiple languages, answer inquiries, and help organize crowd movement, improving mobility and service quality.
The directorate is also involved in search and rescue, as well as emergency response, contributing to pilgrims’ safety and the smooth performance of rituals.
