Another group of ex-IDPs sets off home to Azerbaijan's Shusha

BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 8. Another group of former internally displaced persons (IDPs) has been sent from the Garadagh district of Baku to Azerbaijan's Shusha city following the instructions of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, TurkicWorld reports.

At this stage, 16 families (60 people) moved to Shusha.

The families expressed gratitude to President, victorious Supreme-Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva for comprehensive state care, the valiant Azerbaijani Army, which liberated the lands from occupation.

To date, a permanent settlement in the city of Shusha has been provided for 220 families—823 people.

To recall, due to the Armenian annexation of Shusha and the slaughter of civilians in May 1992, 193 local residents had been killed, 102 disabled, and 25,000 inhabitants became internally displaced persons, relocating to other districts of Azerbaijan.
