Victory Day march unfirls in Azerbaijan's Shusha on November 8

SHUSHA, Azerbaijan, November 8. The parade on the occasion of Victory Day was held in Shusha, TurkicWorld reports.

The parade was held with the participation of the personnel of the N military unit serving on the territory of the city, accompanied by a military band.

The festive march, which began in the city center, was attended by representatives of the local community and law enforcement officers, including youth and students. The march finished at the fortress walls of Shusha city.

To note, Shusha city, which has great spiritual significance for the Azerbaijani people, was liberated from Armenian occupation during the 44-day Second Karabakh War on November 8, 2020. The liberation of the city of Shusha was the culmination of the 44-day Karabakh War. According to the decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev dated December 3, 2020, November 8 is annually celebrated as Victory Day in the country.
