BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 14. The Congress of Azerbaijanis in Moldova organized a commemorative event outside the Azerbaijani Embassy in Moldova to mark Azerbaijan’s Victory Day on November 8, TurkicWorld reports.
Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Moldova, Ulvi Bakhshaliyev, delivered an opening speech, congratulating attendees on this significant occasion. He highlighted that November 8, 2020, remains a day of pride for Azerbaijanis, symbolizing the restoration of justice.
During the event, participants honored the memory of those who sacrificed their lives in the Patriotic War and paid tribute to national leader Heydar Aliyev by laying flowers at his bust.
"We won the greatest battle in modern Azerbaijan’s history – we reclaimed Karabakh," declared Elchin Bayramov, Chairman of the Azerbaijani People's Congress, in his address.
