On July 27, 2026, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to Vietnam, Mr. Shovgi Mehdizade, visited the headquarters of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, where he was received by the President of the Foundation, Professor Aktoty Raimkulova.
During the meeting, opinions were exchanged on the activities of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, as well as ongoing projects aimed at preserving, studying, and internationally promoting the rich cultural heritage of the Turkic peoples.
The parties discussed opportunities for popularizing and promoting Turkic cultural heritage in Vietnam. The importance of organizing cultural events and implementing other joint initiatives in this direction was emphasized.
Furthermore, prospects for developing cooperation between the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, the Embassy of Azerbaijan, and the embassies of other Turkic states in Vietnam were considered. The parties noted the importance of coordinating joint efforts in areas of mutual interest.
