Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation and Turkic World Foundation strengthen cooperation to preserve shared heritage

The Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation and the Turkic World Foundation have discussed opportunities to expand cooperation in cultural and scientific fields, reaffirming their commitment to preserving and promoting the common historical and spiritual heritage of the Turkic world.

On October 8, 2026, President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, Prof. Dr. Aktoty Raimkulova, held a meeting with Prof. Dr. Nabi Avcı, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Turkic World Foundation.

During the discussions, both sides explored prospects for strengthening their institutional partnership and implementing joint cultural and scientific initiatives. Particular attention was given to projects aimed at protecting shared cultural values, encouraging academic cooperation and promoting the historical legacy of Turkic peoples.

One of the central moments of the meeting was the presentation of the honorary title of "Ambassador of Turkic Culture and Heritage" to Professor Nabi Avcı. The distinction was awarded by the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation in recognition of his contributions to cultural and humanitarian cooperation and his efforts to preserve the common spiritual values of Turkic nations.

Presenting the award, Aktoty Raimkulova emphasized Nabi Avcı's longstanding commitment to strengthening unity and solidarity throughout the Turkic world. She highlighted his extensive professional experience and contributions to scientific and cultural development, describing them as deserving of special recognition.
