Azerbaijani MP Nigar Arpadarai visits Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation

BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 17, Member of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mrs. Nigar Arpadarai, visited the headquarters of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation and met with the Foundation’s President, Professor Aktoty Raimkulova.

During the visit, Mrs. Arpadarai was introduced to the Foundation’s headquarters, its publishing activities, and the projects carried out to promote the rich cultural heritage of the Turkic world.

The meeting included discussions on the Foundation’s participation in Baku Climate Week, scheduled for September. Mrs. Arpadarai praised the initiative to integrate cultural heritage and ecological themes into the event’s program, noting that this approach provides a new perspective on the climate agenda through the lens of cultural heritage.

The parties also exchanged views on the Foundation’s interdisciplinary initiatives implemented in recent years. Emphasis was placed on the interconnection between cultural heritage and fields such as environmental protection, urban development, and sustainable development, highlighting it as a key area addressing modern challenges. In this context, the activities of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation were recognized as particularly significant.

The visit concluded with discussions on issues of mutual interest and an exchange of views on prospects for future cooperation.
