On August 17, 2026, President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, Professor Aktoty Raimkulova, met with the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Hungary, Mrs. Esmira Jafarova.
The President of the Foundation congratulated Mrs. Esmira Jafarova on her appointment and wished her success in her future diplomatic endeavors.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the ongoing efforts to preserve, study, and promote the rich cultural heritage of the Turkic peoples. They also discussed the Foundation’s priority areas for the upcoming period, as well as new initiatives aimed at promoting the shared cultural heritage of the Turkic world at the international level.
Professor Aktoty Raimkulova noted that expanding cooperation with Hungary, an observer country of the Foundation, is among the organization’s key priorities. She also provided information on the participation of Hungarian representatives in various projects of the Foundation.
Ambassador Esmira Jafarova highly appreciated the Foundation’s multifaceted activities and emphasized the importance of further developing mutual cooperation and implementing joint projects.
