The President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation Mrs. Aktoty Raimkulova visits the House-Museum of Azerbaijan’s People’s Poet Bakhtiyar Vahabzadeh

BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 20. The President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, Mrs. Aktoty Raimkulova, visited the House-Museum of Azerbaijan’s People’s Poet Bakhtiyar Vahabzadeh, located in the city of Sheki.

It should be noted that the visit was organized in cooperation with the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan and the Mahmud Kashgari International Foundation, in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, H.E. Mr. Ilham Aliyev, on the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the poet. A number of commemorative events have been held as part of this occasion.

Before entering the museum, the participants paid tribute to the poet by visiting the monument erected in his honor, laying flowers, and honoring his memory with deep respect.

During the visit, the guests were introduced to the museum exhibition, which features the poet’s personal belongings, manuscripts, and valuable exhibits reflecting his rich literary legacy. The event highlighted Bakhtiyar Vahabzadeh’s powerful creative voice in defending national consciousness, language, and culture, as well as his remarkable contribution to the culture of the Turkic world.

This visit bore special symbolic significance in terms of preserving the shared cultural memory of the Turkic world and passing it on to future generations.
