The honorary title “AMBASSADOR OF TURKIC CULTURE AND HERITAGE” was conferred

BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 7. On September 3, 2026, in Tashkent, within the framework of the Forum of Writers of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, titled “Spiritual Heritage of the Turkic World: Literature – A Dialogue of Eras and Generations,” a number of prominent figures were conferred the honorary title “Ambassador of the Turkic Culture and Heritage” by the Foundation for their contributions to the development of cultural and humanitarian cooperation in the Turkic world, as well as to the preservation and promotion of shared spiritual values.

The honorary title was conferred upon Mr. Khayriddin Sultonov, Advisor to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan; Mr. Malik Otarbayev, Advisor to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Mr. Ozodbek Nazarbekov, Minister of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan; Mr. Sirojiddin Sayyid, Chairman of the Writers’ Union of Uzbekistan; and Mr. Mereke Kulkenov, Chairman of the Writers’ Union of Kazakhstan.

The title was presented by Prof. Aktoty Raimkulova, President of the Foundation for Turkic Culture and Heritage.

It should be recalled that in 2025, the world-renowned TURAN ensemble became the first recipient of this honorary title.

The honorary title “Ambassador of the Turkic Culture and Heritage” serves as a special recognition of the merits of prominent figures who contribute to strengthening the spiritual unity and shared values of the Turkic world.
