BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 13. President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, Mrs. Aktoty Raimkulova, took part in the International Forum “The World of Alykul Osmonov’s Poetry” during her official visit to the Kyrgyz Republic. The event was held at Jusup Balasagyn Kyrgyz National University in Bishkek, TurkicWorld reports.
The forum, dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the birth of the prominent Kyrgyz poet Alykul Osmonov, served as an important platform for academic exchange and the promotion of the legacy of one of the founders of modern Kyrgyz poetry.
During the event, Mrs. Aktoty Raimkulova delivered a welcoming address in which she emphasized the enduring significance of Alykul Osmonov’s poetic legacy for the entire Turkic civilization. She also highlighted the successful restoration and museification project of the Alykul Osmonov House-Museum in Bishkek in 2024, carried out by the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation. In addition, she presented the Foundation’s key initiatives aimed at promoting Turkic culture, literary heritage, and intercultural cooperation.
The forum brought together members of the academic community, representatives of state bodies, and cultural institutions from across Kyrgyzstan. The State Secretary of the Kyrgyz Republic, Mr. Suyunbek Kasmambetov, was the guest of honor at the event.
The Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation has consistently supported projects focused on the preservation and promotion of Turkic literary and historical heritage. Participation in this forum represents an important contribution to strengthening cultural ties among Turkic countries.
