BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 10. On June 5, 2026, an official meeting was held at the headquarters of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation between the President of the organization, Professor Aktoty Raimkulova, and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Mexican States to the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mrs. Maria Victoria Romero Caballero. During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation between the Turkic world and Mexico in the fields of culture, preservation of heritage, and digitalization.
During the meeting, President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation Aktoty Raimkulova emphasized that the organization she leads has become an important cultural platform promoting the common values of the Turkic world at the international level. She noted that the Foundation’s scope of activities is not limited to member and observer states, but also covers issues related to the preservation of the cultural heritage of Turkic peoples living beyond the Turkic States.
The Ambassador noted that the United Mexican States intends to further strengthen its multilateral relations with the Turkic States by effectively benefiting from the broad cooperation platform and cultural bridges established by the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation.
During the conversation, information was presented on the large-scale international projects implemented by the Foundation.
The meeting also highlighted the “Turkic Houses” panel organized by the Foundation within the framework of the World Urban Forum held in Baku. The Mexican side was congratulated as the host of the upcoming Forum, and prospects for future cooperation were discussed.
