The presentation of the book "Special Assignment" by Kemel Tokayev, published by the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation in Azerbaijani

BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 4.A presentation of the book "Special assignment" in Azerbaijani by prominent Kazakh writer and public figure Kemel Tokayev was held in Baku, TurkicWorld reports.

The publication of the book is organized by the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation. The presentation took place within the framework of the 10th Baku International Book Fair

The event was attended by President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation Aktoty Raimkulova, Advisor to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Malik Otarbayev, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan Alim Bayel, members of Parliament, representatives of government agencies and creative intelligentsia of Azerbaijan, etc.

Speaking at the event Aktoty Raimkulova emphasized that the popularization of the creativity of outstanding personalities of the Turkic world is one of the priorities of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation. In this context, the Foundation publishes such series of books as "Outstanding personalities of the Turkic world", "Pearls of Turkic Literature", "Scientific Pearls of the Turkic World".

"The book "Special assignment" by the outstanding Kazakh writer and public figure Kemel Tokayev from the series "Pearls of Turkic Literature" is the next edition of the Foundation. Kemel Tokayev made a great contribution to the development of Turkic culture. In addition to writing, he was engaged in journalism, covering important cultural and social problems of Kazakhstan," said Aktoty Raimkulova.

Malik Otarbayev greeted the participants on behalf of the President of Kazakhstan Mr. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. In his speech, M.Otarbayev noted that Kemel Tokayev is a writer who laid the foundations of the detective genre in Kazakh literature.

"He wrote each of his works based on archival data. He captured the spirit of the times and left an unforgettable mark on history," the Adviser said.
Malik Otarbayev noted that the presentation of the work translated into Azerbaijani at the book exhibition is of great importance for the residents of Baku. Every work written by the author is a legacy that is passed on to future generations.

People's Writer of Azerbaijan Anar Rzayev expressed his love for Kazakhstan, which prompted him to write an article about the outstanding writer Abay. The writer also expressed great respect for the creativity of Kemel Tokayev.

The famous Azerbaijani writer Chingiz Abdullayev underlined that this publication will contribute to the further strengthening of cultural and literary ties between the peoples of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, and will also be met with great interest by readers. Being a writer of the detective genre, Chingiz Abdullayev highlighted that he was shocked by the incredibly difficult and interesting fate of Kemel Tokayev.

The President of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, academician Isa Habibbayli, noted that the publication of Kemel Tokayev's book in Azerbaijani will give readers the opportunity to get even closer acquainted with the work of the figure of Kazakh literature.

The director of the Ataturk Center in Azerbaijan, academician Nizami Jafarov, shared his thoughts about the book.
Chairman of the Milli Majlis Committee on Public Associations and Religious Organizations Fazil Mustafa, speaking about the creativity of Kemel Tokayev, underlined the significance of turning such events into a tradition.

The translator of the publication is Rabiga Nazimgizi, and the editor is Akbar Goshali.
The participants of the presentation also noted the high artistic value of K. Tokayev's works.

It should be noted that one of the priorities of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation is the publication of books by outstanding writers of the Turkic world in various Turkic languages in order to promote in the international arena the rich heritage and centuries-old history of the Turkic world and transfer them to future generations.
