BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 11. President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, Mrs. Aktoty Raimkulova, delivered an address at the INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM “PHILOSOPHY OF THE GREAT STEPPE AND LEGAL CULTURE,” held in Turkistan and bringing together more than 300 participants, including lawyers, philosophers, historians, experts, and representatives of the academic community. The symposium served as an important platform for discussing the legal and philosophical heritage of the Turkic world and its relevance in the modern context, TurkicWorld reported.
In her remarks, Mrs. Aktoty Raimkulova emphasized the importance of spiritual unity, humanism, and justice as fundamental values of the Turkic cultural tradition, and highlighted the continuity of legal norms reflected in contemporary models of public governance. She also presented the Foundation’s projects aimed at deepening cultural and humanitarian cooperation among Turkic states.
During the conference, welcome addresses were delivered by: Chairwoman of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mrs. Elvira Azimova; Judge of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Rashid Rzayev; Deputy Akim of the Turkistan Region Mr. Ertay Altayev; Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi International Kazakh-Turkish University Mr. Muhittin Şimşek; Member of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mrs. Unzila Shapak; Ambassador-at-Large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mrs. Alua Nadirkulova; Vice-President of the Turkic Academy Mr. Bülent Bayram; Chairwoman of the Council of Women Entrepreneurs under the Organization of Turkic States Mrs. Lazzat Ramazanova.
The session was moderated by the Rector of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi International Kazakh-Turkish University, Mrs. Zhanar Temirbekova. Guest lectures by leading scholars were organized for the university’s students and academic staff.
The symposium was highly evaluated as a significant platform for strengthening scientific, cultural, and legal cooperation among the Turkic states.
