The Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation Reaches the Global Stage: Memorandum Signed in Seoul with the ICHCAP Center under UNESCO

BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 23.Within the framework of the working visit of the President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, Mrs. Aktoty Raimkulova, to Seoul, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Foundation and the International Information and Networking Centre for Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Asia-Pacific Region under the auspices of UNESCO (ICHCAP) TurkicWorld reports.

The document was signed by the President of the Foundation, Mrs. Aktoty Raimkulova, and the Acting Director-General of ICHCAP, Mrs. Gyuri Park. The Memorandum provides for the establishment of institutional cooperation between the parties in the fields of safeguarding, studying, documenting, digitizing, and promoting intangible cultural heritage at the international level.

Within the framework of the Memorandum, the parties plan to implement joint projects, conduct scientific and information exchanges, engage experts, and promote joint initiatives on regional and international platforms.
The document opens up new horizons for strengthening cooperation and mutual dialogue between the Turkic world and the Asia-Pacific region, creating broad opportunities to showcase the rich cultural heritage of the Turkic peoples not only in Europe and Asia but also on the global stage.

The signing of the Memorandum and the high-level bilateral meetings held in Seoul are regarded as an important step towards expanding the international partnership of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, strengthening cooperation with UNESCO structures, and promoting the rich intangible cultural heritage of the Turkic peoples worldwide.
