BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 10. A meeting was held at the headquarters of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation between the President of the organization, Mrs. Aktoty Raimkulova, and the Chairman of the Board of the “Icherisheher” State Historical-Architectural Reserve Administration, Mr. Rufat Mahmud, TurkicWorld reported.
During the meeting, the parties discussed existing partnership opportunities in the protection, management, and promotion of the cultural heritage of the Turkic world. Particular attention was given to the rich historical heritage of Icherisheher, its inclusion in the UNESCO World Heritage List, and potential joint projects aimed at presenting this heritage to a wider international audience.
The discussions on the preservation of ancient Icherisheher and its proper presentation in the modern era demonstrated that both sides are ready to form a shared approach in this field. In this context, preliminary exchanges of views were held regarding potential joint projects planned for the near future.
The sides also thoroughly discussed further expansion of the existing close and productive cooperation between the two institutions.
