President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation met with IICAS Director in Samarkand

BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 29. As part of the official visit of the President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, Mrs. Aktoty Raimkulova, to the city of Samarkand on the occasion of the ceremony granting the city the status of Cultural Capital of the Islamic World, a meeting was held with the Director of the International Institute for Central Asian Studies (IICAS), Mr. Evren Rutbil, TurkicWorld reports.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged information about their current activities and discussed prospects for future cooperation in the field of studying, preserving, and promoting the cultural heritage of the Turkic world. The President of the Foundation presented the organization’s key areas of work and expressed readiness to establish strong partnerships with the Institute.

As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached to develop a joint roadmap for the implementation of scientific and cultural initiatives aimed at strengthening cooperation within Central Asia and beyond. This partnership is expected to make a significant contribution to the development of sustainable scientific and cultural dialogue.
