BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 23. On February 20, 2026, the President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, Professor Aktoty Raimkulova, visited Baku State University and held a meeting with the Rector of the University, Professor Elchin Babayev,TurkicWorld reports.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the existing cooperation between the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation and Baku State University, as well as on the prospects for its further development.
The sides emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between scientific and educational institutions in preserving the rich and ancient Turkic cultural heritage and passing it on to future generations. Particular attention was paid to the study of Turkic cultural heritage at universities, the promotion of academic research, and increasing interest in this field.
Within the framework of the meeting, readiness was expressed to implement joint projects in areas of mutual interest, expand academic cooperation, and promote common initiatives.
As part of the visit, Professor Aktoty Raimkulova also visited the Heydar Aliyev Museum and Lecture Hall, the Museum of Natural Resources, as well as the University’s modern Scientific Library. She was provided with detailed information about the University’s activities, research areas, and existing academic potential.
The meeting was held in an atmosphere of mutual understanding and constructive dialogue.
