BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 12. In Kyrgyzstan, the National Library named after Alykul Osmonov hosted a solemn presentation of the book by the outstanding Kyrgyz poet Alykul Osmonov "From time to time", issued by the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation in Kyrgyz and Azerbaijani languages, TurkicWorld reports.
Speaking at the presentation, the president of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation Aktoty Raimkulova welcomed the guests and gave information about the activities of the Foundation: "The mission of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation is to preserve, study and promote in the international arena the rich heritage and culture of the Turkic world. One of the priorities of the organization is to transfer to future generations the heritage of outstanding personalities of the Turkic peoples. In this direction, the Foundation has launched 3 book series "Outstanding personalities of the Turkic world", "Literary Pearls of the Turkic World", "Scientific Pearls of the Turkic World". Alykul Osmonov's book "From time to time" is the first book to be published from the series "Literary Pearls of the Turkic World". The translation of the book was carried out by the famous Azerbaijani writer Adil Jamil".
Aktoty Raimkulova also told the guests about the reconstruction and museification of the Alykul Osmonov house museum in Bishkek: "As you know, following the directives of the Declaration of the Astana Summit of Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States, we have also completed the reconstruction and museification of the Alykul Osmonov house museum. Thanks to the restoration and modern equipment of the museum, connoisseurs of the creativity of the outstanding Kyrgyz poet Alykul Osmonov will have access to a place that has preserved the atmosphere of the era in which the great poet lived".
The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic Gulbara Abdykalykova, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Kyrgyz Republic Latif Gandilov, Secretary General TURKSOY Sultan Raev, as well as prominent writers, cultural figures and representatives of international organizations.
