Bishkek, March 27, 2023. / Kabar /. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Almaz Imangazev received copies of credentials of Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Kyrgyz Republic Hassan Ali Zaigam.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, during the meeting, Imangaziev congratulated the head of the diplomatic mission on his appointment and wished him success in his new post.

The meeting participants discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in various fields of mutual interest. In particular, special attention was paid to raising the level of bilateral political, trade and economic cooperation. In this regard, the parties agreed on the need to organize reciprocal visits at high and highest levels this year to resume the activities of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation between States.

The parties also stressed the need to develop cooperation in the cultural and humanitarian sphere, as well as inter-parliamentary relations.

In the context of the intensification of trade and economic cooperation, special attention was paid to the creation of joint ventures in the textile and pharmaceutical sectors, the development of tourism, and the expansion of the legal framework between the countries.

During the meeting, there was also an exchange of views on topical issues on the international agenda.
