According to the data from Uzbekistan's Statistics Agency, this figure indicates a 42.8 percent decrease compared to the same period last year ($420.4 million in January–May 2023).
Kyrgyzstan made it into the top countries with the biggest foreign trade turnover volume in Uzbekistan.
Uzbekistan's exports to Kyrgyzstan totaled $195.3 million, which is less than 57.4 percent over the year ($307.5 million in January–May 2023).
The volume of imports from Kyrgyzstan to Uzbekistan reached $99 million from January through May 2024. This figure has decreased by 14 percent year-on-year ($112.9 million in January–May 2023).
Meanwhile, Uzbekistan's foreign trade turnover volume amounted to $26.7 billion from January through May 2024. This figure indicates a 3 percent growth year-on-year ($25.9 billion in January–May 2023).
Uzbekistan's exports reached $10.8 billion, while imports totaled $15.9 billion during this period.
