Bishkek, Aug. 3, 2023. /Kabar/. The closing ceremony of the joint tactical and special training "Dostuk - 2023" was held with special forces and engineering and sapper units of the National Guard of the Armed Forces of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan on August 2, 2023.
The Ministry of Defense of the Kyrgyz Republic said that the closing ceremony was attended by the Commander of the National Guard of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic Colonel Talantbek Ergeshov, military personnel and participants of the training.
On behalf of the minister of defense and the commander of the National Guard of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic, the distinguished participants were awarded certificates and medals.
At the end of the event, the participants of the exercises visited the National Historical Museum of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The joint tactical and special training "Dostuk - 2023" were held from July 23 to August 2, 2023 on the basis of the Edelweiss training center of military unit 20636 in Kyrgyzstan.
During the week, Kyrgyz military personnel together with Uzbek colleagues worked out the issues of training special forces, tactical-special, fire, mountain training and communication training. In addition, special training classes were organized for engineering and sapper units.
