BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 23.A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation and Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in order to expand cultural ties between Turkic countries and peoples with common historical roots, as well as promote the literary and cultural heritage of the Turkic world in the international arena, TurkicWorld reports.
The document was signed by President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation Aktoty Raimkulova and Vice–President of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev.
The purpose of the Memorandum is to facilitate the creation of conditions for the maintenance and development of partnerships between the Parties.
The document includes such items as the implementation of various projects in the field of preservation and popularization of the material and spiritual values of the Turkic world, as well as cooperation in the field of Turkology.
