Israeli settlers attack Palestinians in occupied West Bank

BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 3. Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian residents and foreign solidarity activists in the occupied West Bank during separate incidents northeast of Ramallah, according to the Palestinian news agency Wafa.

The agency reported that residents of Turmus Aya and Abu Falah organized a march toward the al-Badoud area, where Palestinian landowners have been attempting to access land they say is under threat of confiscation amid escalating settler violence.

According to Wafa, an elderly Palestinian man was injured during the attack, while several international solidarity activists were sprayed with pepper spray.

In a separate incident, settlers entered an area near Palestinian homes on the outskirts of al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah, under the protection of Israeli forces, the report said. Wafa alleged that the settlers threw stones at a house and attempted to pour a toxic substance into the family's water tank.

The agency added that the Kaabneh family has faced repeated attacks since settlers established what Palestinians describe as an illegal outpost near their home about two years ago. There was no immediate comment from the Israeli military or Israeli authorities on the reported incidents.
