Germany offers military transport planes

BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 25. Germany has said it is ready to deploy military cargo aircraft to support relief operations in Venezuela following the deadly earthquakes.

TurkicWorld reports that German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius said the country’s armed forces could provide up to six A400M transport aircraft at short notice if a formal request is made.

He stressed the need for rapid humanitarian assistance, noting that crews are already preparing for possible deployment.

According to the statement, the aircraft could be used to transport rescue personnel and emergency supplies from Germany to Venezuela, as well as support internal logistics within the affected country.

The announcement comes as international aid efforts intensify, with dozens reported killed and hundreds injured, and officials warning that the casualty toll may rise as search-and-rescue operations continue.
