US says more than 120 ships redirected since naval blockade of Iranian ports

BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 3. The United States reports that 125 commercial vessels have been redirected since the launch of its naval blockade of Iranian ports in mid-April.

TurkicWorld reports that US Central Command added that six ships failing to comply with the blockade were disabled.

The operation, initiated by President Trump, aims to prevent Iran from exporting oil and to pressure Tehran into accepting terms for a potential deal.
