BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 13. US President Donald Trump has dismissed claims that China and Russia are providing assistance to Iran, saying he does not believe either country is helping Tehran.
Arabaz reports that Trump made the remarks in a post on his Truth Social platform, responding to criticism and speculation about possible Chinese and Russian support for the Islamic Republic.
The US president strongly criticized his political opponents, particularly those on the left, for suggesting that Beijing and Moscow were assisting Iran.
"I see so many comments from the Radical Left Morons and Lunatics that China and Russia are helping the 'wonderful' Islamic Republic of Iran," Trump wrote.
He said that even if the two countries were providing some form of assistance, he believed it would be extremely limited.
"If they are, it's at a very low level, but I don't believe they are at all," Trump stated.
The American leader also argued that China and Russia have too much at stake to risk becoming involved in supporting Iran.
"They have too much to lose, and we would know about it, and know about it very fast!" he added.
Trump's comments reflect his assessment of the possible involvement of Beijing and Moscow in developments surrounding Iran, although he did not provide evidence to support his conclusions.
