Iran and Egypt hold talks on efforts to end the US–Israel conflict

BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 23. Diplomatic contacts in the Middle East continue to intensify. Regional tensions, ongoing diplomatic efforts, and possible solutions were among the key topics discussed during the latest high-level talks between Iran and Egypt.

TurkicWorld reports that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi held a phone conversation with Egyptian Foreign Minister بدر Abdelatty to discuss recent negotiations conducted through Pakistan’s mediation efforts.

According to reports from Iran's semi-official news agency, Abbas Araghchi had also previously held telephone conversations with Qatar’s Prime Minister and Oman’s Foreign Minister. These contacts took place after meetings in Tehran with Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir.

According to available information, discussions between the United States and Iran have primarily focused on the situation in the Strait of Hormuz, concerns regarding Iran's nuclear program, and demands for easing sanctions.

Observers believe that these recent diplomatic contacts may represent important steps toward reducing regional tensions and creating possible political solutions.
