TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, September 22. Minister of Transport Ilkhom Makhkamov met with Konstantin Limitovsky, Vice President of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), TurkicWorld reports.
During the meeting, Limitovsky highlighted the transport sector's crucial role in AIIB's activities and expressed the bank's strong interest in pursuing future joint infrastructure projects.
Makhkamov, in turn, emphasized that AIIB is one of their key partners among international financial institutions, providing substantial support for major transport projects.
The two sides discussed the progress of ongoing joint projects and explored opportunities for AIIB to participate in future high-priority initiatives.
