Uzbekistan aims to promote its national brands in public catering to foreign markets, TurkicWorld reports.
This was revealed during a round table held by Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade.
The event was attended by Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade Laziz Kudratov and representatives of 15 large catering enterprises.
In the course of the round table discussion, the participants reviewed the specific steps on promotion and support of national brands abroad, more than 20 new proposals and initiatives put forward by entrepreneurs working in the sphere. Each proposal was accepted for further elaboration and adoption of appropriate organizational decisions.
According to the results of the round table, the responsible managers were assigned the task of developing a draft of the relevant regulatory legal document, including measures to address the problematic issues raised by entrepreneurs and the implementation of new initiatives for the active expansion of companies in the markets of near and far abroad.
