DUSHANBE, Tajikistan, September 18. Representatives of the Tajikaeronavigatsiya state unitary enterprise and the Uzbekistan Air Navigation Center signed an agreement on procedures for cooperation in the air traffic service area between Dushanbe and Tashkent, TurkicWorld reports.
During the meeting in Uzbekistan, the sides discussed technical aspects of an air route that starts in Uzbekistan and ends in Tajikistan at the point "AGVUT". It was noted that this route offers significant benefits for operators in terms of time and fuel savings.
Tajikaeronavigatsiya also presented its automated flight planning system and achievements in implementing PBN (performance-based navigation) in Tajikistan.
Additionally, the working group visited the aeronautical information service and the training center at the Uzbekistan Airways facility.
On August 29, 2024, the Government of Tajikistan adopted the National Civil Aviation Security Program for 2025-2030.
The program aims to ensure the safety of passengers, flight crews, and ground personnel, protect airport facilities and infrastructure, and enhance the efficiency of international civil aviation flights in Tajikistan.
