Uza. For the 2023/2024 academic year, a quota for the admission of 3,207 people was approved for Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages (of which 558 people – based on a state grant).
These data on admission were announced during a press conference held with the participation of senior officials of the Institute.
“Until now, our institute has trained specialists in 17 educational areas of undergraduate studies”, says Otabek Gaybullayev, Executive Secretary of the Admission Committee of Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages. – In the new academic year, in addition to these academic areas, groups of training in other languages, training in the Russian language and philology, Turkish language and philology, and Russian language in the correspondence department were added. Russian language training has been added to 14 specialties at the magistracy department, in addition, another direction has been opened.
To successfully organize admissions, the institute has established the activities of Call-centers and advisory centers that provide answers to questions from applicants and their parents.
Soon, it is planned to create joint educational programs 2+2 at the Institute in cooperation with Mehmet Akif Ersoy University for teaching the Turkish language and the University of Castilla-La Mancha for teaching Spanish.
