BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 13. As part of the official visit of the President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, Mrs. Aktoty Raimkulova, to the Kyrgyz Republic, a solemn ceremony was held to hand over modern multimedia equipment to the Turkic Heritage Center at Jusup Balasagyn Kyrgyz National University, TurkicWorld reports.
The equipment, totaling 2 million Kyrgyz soms in value, was donated by the President of the Foundation as part of its ongoing program to establish Cultural Heritage Centers across Turkic countries.
In her address, Mrs. Aktoty Raimkulova highlighted the importance of the Turkic Heritage Center as a platform for the study and promotion of the rich historical and cultural legacy of the Turkic world: “The Foundation consistently supports institutions that contribute to strengthening the spiritual unity of Turkic peoples. We believe that this equipment will serve as an effective tool in advancing the Center's large-scale academic and educational initiatives".
The Rector of Jusup Balasagyn Kyrgyz National University expressed heartfelt gratitude for the generous support, noting that the provided technology would create new opportunities for the digitalization of research, inter-university collaboration, and the organization of international events.
Similar Turkic Heritage Centers have already been established at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Kazakh Leading Academy of Architecture and Civil Engineering, and Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory. Additional centers are expected to open soon in Azerbaijan, Türkiye, and Poland.
