BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 16. On May 15, 2025, as part of the official visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan, President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation Aktoty Raimkulova held a meeting with the Akim of Turkistan Region, Mr. Nuralkhan Kusherov, TurkicWorld reports.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the preservation and promotion of the spiritual and material heritage of the Turkic World, as well as prospects for expanding cooperation between the Foundation and the Turkistan Region. Special attention was given to initiatives supporting academic research and the implementation of joint projects in the region, including the restoration of historical monuments and the advancement of Turkic heritage sites for inclusion in international lists such as UNESCO.
Mrs. Raimkulova expressed her gratitude to the regional leadership for supporting the Foundation's cultural initiatives and emphasized the importance of Turkistan as the spiritual capital of the Turkic World.
In turn, the Akim reaffirmed his readiness to engage in active cooperation with the Foundation and highlighted the significance of integrating cultural efforts to strengthen unity and continuity among Turkic peoples.
The meeting was held in a spirit of mutual understanding and shared commitment to preserving and promoting the rich legacy of the Turkic World.
