Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation marks the 5th Anniversary of the Glorious Victory with Literary and Artistic Event

On November 19, 2025, at the International Mugham Center, the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, held a literary and artistic event dedicated to the 5th anniversary of the Glorious Victory, as well as a presentation of the documentary film “The Shadowless World”, which reflects the subtleties of the art of miniature.

The event commenced with the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The memory of the martyrs was honored with a minute of silence.

In the opening remarks, President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation Mrs. Aktoty Raimkulova greeted the guests and emphasized that the Glorious Victory is the embodiment of the unity and will of the Azerbaijani people.

She noted that the Victory achieved during the 44-day Patriotic War is a shared source of pride for the entire Turkic world.

Mrs. Aktoty Raimkulova underlined that the Foundation places special importance on culture as the foundation of the spiritual bridge uniting the Turkic peoples. In this context, the documentary film “The Shadowless World” holds particular significance for the preservation and promotion of the art of miniature. She expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to the creation of the film and congratulated the people of Azerbaijan on the 5th anniversary of the Glorious Victory.

The event, hosted by Farid Huseyn, Chairman of the Youth Council of the Azerbaijan Writers’ Union, continued with an artistic program.

The artistic part of the event featured performances by Honored Artist Beyimkhanim Valiyeva with “Xudayar təsnifi”, young singer Khasay Shikhiyev with the song “Ey Vətən”, and renowned khananda Ayshan Mehdiyeva with “Qarabağ şərqisi”. Actor Tural Ahmad recited the poem “Azərbaycan bayrağı” by Ramiz Gusarchaylı. The dance ensemble of the Children and Youth Development Center No. 3 also performed.

In the second part of the event, Afag Mammadova and Jamila Hashimova, art directors of the company Artel and authors of the documentary film “The Shadowless World”, delivered remarks, sharing insights into the film’s conceptual framework, the artistic and aesthetic aspects of miniature art, and details of the film’s creation process.

Following the speeches, the audience was presented with the film “The Shadowless World”, which conveys the subtleties of Azerbaijani miniature art through contemporary cinematic language.

The event was attended by representatives government institutions, as well as of the diplomatic corps accredited in the Republic of Azerbaijan, heads of international organizations, scientific institutions, higher education establishments, as well as high-level representatives of various reputable organizations.

The event was assessed as one of the important steps in promoting and raising awareness of Azerbaijan’s glorious history.
