BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 16. The presentation of the book by the outstanding writer Mir Jalal “World of Nizami Ganjavi”, published in the framework of joint cooperation between the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation and the Literary Support Fund “The Writer's House" was held, TurkicWorld reports.
The presentation of the book “World Nizami Ganjavi” by the outstanding representative of Azerbaijani literature of the twentieth century, writer, scientist, professor Mir Jalal, published within the framework of joint cooperation between the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation (TCHF) and the Literary Support Fund “The Writer's House" was held at the headquarters of the TCHF. It should be noted that the book contains scientific articles by Mir Jalal about the works of the great Azerbaijani poet Nizami Ganjavi.
The event was moderated by Shafag Mehraliyeva, Executive Director of the Literary Support Fund “The Writer's House".
The president of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, welcoming the guests, noted that promoting the heritage of great personalities of the Turkic world is one of the priorities of the Foundation, Mir Jalal's book "World of Nizami Ganjavi" is the second edition of the series "Outstanding Personalities of the Turkic World" launched by the Foundation.
The first edition of this series was the book "Heydar Aliyev and Muhammad Fuzuli".
She noted that the love for the legacy of the genius Nizami Ganjavi has always occupied an important place in the work of the outstanding writer, scientist Mir Jalal. Aktoty Raimkulova expressed confidence that this publication will further increase the interest of Azerbaijani readers in both the study of Nizami's legacy and Mir Jalal's work.
Speaking at the event, rector of ADA University, Professor Hafiz Pashayev emphasized the significance of popularizing the work of literary personalities of the Turkic peoples. Professor Hafiz Pashayev wished the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation success in its future activities.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan Saadat Yusifova, Director of the Nizami Ganjavi National Museum of Azerbaijani Literature Rafael Huseynov, literary scholar, Professor Tahsin Mutallimov, poet, writer Farid Huseyn noted that traces of the spiritual world of Nizami Ganjavi in Azerbaijani literature are deeply explored in the work of Mir Jalal. They noted, that the implementation of such projects contributes to the promotion of literature and culture of the Turkic world.
The event was also attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Azerbaijan, literary, public and scientific figures, and media representatives.
The artistic part of the event featured classical works by outstanding Azerbaijani composers performed by Honored Artist of Azerbaijan, opera singer Ramil Gasimov and pianist, Professor Zulfiyya Sadigova.
