BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 28. President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation Aktoty Raimkulova attended the international scientific and practical conference "The musical culture of Eastern nations: principles of creative harmonization in the era of globalization", held within the framework of the 13th “Sharq taronalari” ("Melodies of the East") International Music Festival in Samarkand, TurkicWorld reports.
Speaking at the conference Aktoty Raimkulova greeted the guests and thanked the organizers for holding such an important event at a high level. Aktoty Raimkulova underlined the significance of the formation and preservation of national identity in the global environment, as well as the rich heritage and achievements of Uzbekistan, which is an integral part of the Turkic world, in the field of preserving and popularizing the material and cultural values of the Turkic peoples. The president of the Foundation noted that the transfer of the rich heritage of ancestors to the younger generation is the primary task of the Turkic world countries.
At the end of her speech, the president of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation wished good luck to all participants of the 13th “Sharq Taronalari” International Music Festival, organized by the Ministry of Culture of Uzbekistan with the support of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan under the auspices of UNESCO.
The event was also attended by the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ozodbek Nazarbekov, Secretary General of TURKSOY Sultan Raev, representatives of UNESCO, experts from foreign countries, including musicologists, folklorists, cultural scientists, rectors of prestigious universities and heads of international research institutes and scientific and creative centers.
