BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 11. President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva arrived in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic on August 11.
The information was released by the Press Service of the President of Azerbaijan.
During the visit, President Ilham Aliyev is expected to hold meetings, review ongoing projects and discuss issues related to the development of the region.
Nakhchivan is considered one of Azerbaijan’s strategically important regions, with recent years witnessing increased attention to infrastructure, transport, energy and economic development projects.
